so today at rehursals we were working on the last part of the play where we sing " we go together". now this song is a tongue twister and can be very hard to learn but for someone who cant dance and sing at the same time they can be impossible.  tyler is that type of person.  he has the lead role as danny and has lots of songs to do and dance.  now for the most part hes doing pretty good. but when it comes to this song hes just not getting it, no matter how much i work with this guy hes not getting it...
so anyway the start of the song goes like this...

i wuz so shocked cause ive never heard him say that before but i also burst out laughing!!
our director who made it clear that we are not to use fowl langauge also has never heard him swear like that before.  all she said in this strange calm voice wuz..." tyler we will have to make this an r rated play if you dont learn these lyrics"  omg everyone wuz laughing, i wuz laughing so hard i had tears.

16th Birthday

well most of you know that it wuz my 16th birthday yesterday. i know everyone on mine or tyler's facebook knew since he put it out there a few times lol.  thanks tyler your a sweetheart. on friday at youth they brought out a cake and sang happy bday to me and then yesterday morning i got a couple of phone calls from england from my nana and my sister.  i got my bday cake in bed and my pressies from my family.  my parents gave me a new ipod since mine has been broken for a while and a gift card to the mall, my brother gave me an itune card.  4 of my closest friends came over and we all went out for dinner then back here for cake and a movie.  tyler wuz so sweet he sang to me and gave me a really cute scarf and a pare of earrings, thank you tyler i love them both, carly gave me a really cool top and funny it goes well with the scarf, meaghan gave me a gift card to ardeans and jana gave me some earrings and necklaces and some candy.  we had so much fun pigging out and watching the movie and way too much laughter, i am sore today from laughing.

Friday night youth so fun

youth wuz so fun tonight. first we had our worship and that wuz pretty amazing.  then we played some games. one game wuz an improve game. omg this wuz too funny, we got into small groups and had to go on stage and then were given a story we had to act out. wuz it ever funny.  plus today wuz  a pro-d day so no school YES! since my friend in abbatsford had a couple of snow days it wuz nice to have a day off too.  i wanted to get out in the snow but by the time we got ready to go the rain started and well the snow is melting.  i cant wait until tomorrow its going to be a very good day.

no snow day for us

so today my old school got a snow day oh no but not us public school kids we had to go to school.  some kids in the higher areas didnt come in because the school bus didnt go up the hills.  then my teacher told us that on the news abbatsford, mission and chillawack all got snow days!! wow i know peeps in each of those towns and this sucks! i hope you all have fun on your snow day and dont feel sorry for us who had to come to school day we will survive!! :P

Snow day fun

today wuz a snowday!! well its sat so no school anyway but still wuz a good day to play in the snow. i got up early today around 8am i wuz so excited about the snow.  i sent jack jack outside to see how deep it wuz. he went outside in his pjs and slippers it wuz funny.  later a bunch of us met at the park and went tobogganing and had a snow ball fight and built a snow fort, so much fun. josh's mum called us over and gave us some hot choc and cookies so yummy.
so it wuz me, tyler, carly, josh, matt, jack, michelle, alexia, sarah, brandon, and a bunch of others it seemed like half the school showed up at one point.
this is our first snow fall in a year so i wuz happy to get out and have fun in it.

snow,dance,youth

as i sit and watch the snow falling :):) (our first snow fall of the year!) i ponder about the week that i had.  the week ended nicely with it snowing tonight.  i think i will be tobogganing tomorrow. im one of the choreographers for grease. im working with the greasers oh so fun.  we have been working on grease lightning. ive taught a few kids in the past and that can be hard but not nearly as hard as teaching these klutzy  boys.  and its even harder when some of them ( the 2 main singers) cant dance and sing at the same time. omg!!!!!! i keep saying to myself it will all come together it will all come together...
well that wuz the hardest thing i did all week. tonight wuz youth night and it wuz so good.  we had a few new people come with their friends and they said they had a great time and will be back.  worship wuz awesome plus it wuz fun playng the games.
well that just about sums up my week.  im so ready for the weekend.!!!!!!!!!

Things I find funny

as i sit and wait for the lunch bell im thinking of things that i find funny.  i find many things funny to be honest.  at school there is always something that is funny going on.  its great to watch people in the halls how they interact and stuff. guys are really amusing, two guys will meet in the hall and throw a punch or two and make some loud grunting nose then they are talking away about things.  thats how guys are affectionate to each other.  girls on the other hand will hug tell each other that they are beautiful and so on.  we are very affectionate.  now watching guys are girls who are dating is so fun.  you get those girls who are possesive with thier 'man' and meet up with him and grab his arm and march him away from his friends.   you have the shy timid girls who just stand there until thier bf touches them.  you get those couples who meet up in the hall and start kissings and stuff those are the ones you feel like saying " get a room" too .  I laugh at them because i think they just do it because it gets others attention.  yes i find things funny because im just that weird.

the first week of 2012

Its been a week since the start of 2012 and so far its been a good year. lol. yes its a good one.  so far this year i have spent 9 hours a day at school, been teaching a bunch greasers how to dance! ( that is the hardest job ive ever had). ive read the bible daily and have been writing out some exciting scriptures and ive been praying daily. ive been so tired at the end of the day that a couple of nights i went to bed by 9pm.  today i slept in but not too long i wuz up by 8:30 am.  today i hung out with a couple of friends i have not seen in a while and we had tons of fun.  cant wait for church tomorow.

2011 a year in review

Happy New year everyone!  welcome to 2012 a year that is going to be so good that we will all be praising God in it.  
2011 wuz a year of changes, challenges and lots of fun.  starting in jan where my family brought in the new year in whistler what  a fun night that wuz.  i celebrated my 15th bday and went out to dinner with my family and 3 of my friends .  this last year wuz busy with me coaching  7/8 yrs olds in gymnastics and with dance compitions. i continued learning the cello which i started to learn in 2010 and made the youth worship team playing keyboards and singing.  i moved into a bigger bedroom with a double size bed, painted in the purples and blacks that i picked out.  my family went to florida to disneyworld for spring break. we also spent a week camping in the summer.
also in march wuz sad when we had to put our 16 yr old cat down because she had cancer :( 
i joined tylers band in the spring and that has been a blast even if we have no time lately to get together with it.  
i had to make the decision to change schools for my grade 10 yr it wuz a hard one but i wanted to be in a school that offered more of the arts.  it wuz a challenge doing this as i had to say goodbye to some of my closest friends and then deal with the challenges that come from public school.  
youth has been so good, we went to history maker in may and we were challenged back in Sept to draw closer to God and to hear his voice.  its been pretty exciting to sit with my bible, journal and worship music and ask God what does he want me to read today and he leads me.  plus to hear why he has lead me in that.  its also been awesome hearing God while im praying in tongues..the spirit leads me to who i should be praying for. im learning to listen to the spirit for direction in my life and setting goals.
another challenge and also very exciting is tyler and me have started dating.  the challenge is keeping it pure and honest and setting boundaries.  its exciting because i love him .  im thankful to our youth leaders and our parents who have been listening to us and guiding us in this.
a huge challenge even though its exciting has been me getting the part of rizzo in grease. being new at the school i didnt think i would get a big part.  the challenge is the time we need to put into this play plus being in the orchestra had made my life busy too.  
and then christmas wuz just a week ago and wuz very good and new years even wuz lots of fun with our church families getting together.
now what will 2012 bring????
well i know my birthday is in 3 weeks :D and i know the next few weeks i will be very busy with extra long play practices, 5 days a week until 5 pm wow so busy lol. its all good though all good.
